FINALLY a good amps! Don't know if it's the new pen or the lack of kibble, but whatever it is, I'll take it.

Here's the bad news, however.... (that I'm ashamed to admit). He got *near* the kibble this morning for a few seconds with my back turned. I don't think he got any...and he certainly didn't appreciate the scream that exploded from me when I saw him! There was already another cat at the bowl, so he would have had to push his way past other kitty (Ernest T.) and I don't think he did that. Only time will tell.

Nice AMPS to start Chester's day. He can go somewhere with an AMPS like that. I hope he didn't get any kibble.
Sorry, if I haven't read every condo, but can't you feed the other kitty his kibble in a place where it is impossible for Chester to sneak any? Like, sometimes, I give Ginger a treat of kibble in the bathroom with the door closed.

;-) Welllll... I had every intention to keep Chester in his room until everyone had had their breakfast, but then I got the sad eyes and the whine and I caved, thinking I would be ever so diligent. Learned my lesson. I'm going to try to get an "out the door" in a few minutes.

Jaye...I have the same issue. Curry's sis is still eating the kibble (finicky eater and trying to transition her to all canned) and eats on the table where I can usually see her. However, occasionally I slip and forget and Curry is up on the table too. Sid is pretty good w/polishing off the kibble and she is getting less of it now but its a pain to have to monitor. Every few days I give Sid less kibble and more canned. I tried giving her all canned once and she turned up her nose completely....so slow and easy does it.

Hope Chester didnt get into the forbidden kitty crack. Amps look good.....maybe a peek of blue today.

Poor Chester, your scream must have scared the living daylight out of him, but I'm sure he's already recovered. Hope if he snuck some kibble it won't spike the numbers too much.

this is a great way to start the day! I also hope he didn't get into any kibble .. sometimes we just know in our gut they either did or didn't .. and like you said, numbers will tell .. have a great day guys!

Great yellow for Chester! I am hoping he didn't get any...although if he sniffed it that might be enough to raise the BGs...these carbo freaks get a kick out of the aroma alone!!! :lol:

I'm getting really tired of these high numbers. I really don't think he got into the kibble today, and so it's been several days since the BIG raid. He's been throwing off those carb spikes quickly in past weeks so I upped his dose by a drop to .25 It's not an accurate dose, by any stretch of the imagination (my in-between ones never are) so I'm a bit worried that I really didn't up him at all. We'll see, I guess. I'll be watching him tonight.

My dog's numbers are up as well. Something in the air, perhaps?
