WCR: It's all her the past few days, I swear it is. I haven't touched her doses, or her food amounts in a very long time. I'm simply following her lead right now, and allowing her to do what she wants. If she tells me that she wants less insulin, I'll happily oblige her. :-D

This morning, she's been laying next to the water bowl, which is a bit concerning, but not really as I know she's in beautiful #s. I still give her 3 tsps. of water with her meals, and she knows that there is clean, fresh water put out for her and the others 2x/day.

I can honestly say that it's been a very pleasant last few days, and I'm glad that they happened. In my opinion, whatever dose reductions we do is a positive one. I'd prefer to do reductions than increases any day, thank you very much! :lol:

Hoping that everyone is having a good weekend so far.

She also received a front paw toe nailing clipping too, thanks to the help of DH who petted her while the Momma clipped her nails. Thought she'd give higher #s because of the "stress" of having the evil DH pet her, but she did well. :lol: She doesn't care for DH all that much (don't know why... He's never harmed her).

Anyway, going to retest in 1/2 hour to be sure she's ok.

Well Angela you certainly deserve this nice round with Blackie after all the stressful things you had going on! :mrgreen: I'm so happy for you that she is responding so well and you sound so happy :-D :-D As for the DH thing, I have had several cats who just weren't and aren't fond of the deep 'man' voice. Terry (DH) is a HUGE kitty fan, and has decided that he will only talk in a higher pitched cutsie wutsie voice when they are around, so that they won't get scared away. It is sweet, and embarrassing all at the same time. :lol: Heehee.
