11-17-19 Salem Dose increase 1.50 U PMP 239 +2= 195+3=165+7=177

A wise decision based on those numbers and your tests. Salem's mid-cycles are telling you that he needs some more juice to get him moving on down.

I think the dose increase was a good idea. Fingers crossed it will bring Salem's numbers down.

I have a question on your notes on the SS
On 11/11, 11/12 & 11/13 it says 0.2mml for ketones
11/14 & 11/15 it shows 2.0mml.

Is this correct or did you leave the "." off on 11/14 & 11/15?
 
Yeah Salem made the blues !!! +2=195 . Setting alarm tonight like every night ! Will be checking every hour now . Boy i have used some strips ! I bought 100 strips we already used half of them since last wednesday ! I know im probably checking too much . Can not help it worries mommie ! Can i get any advice about the greens ? I panic when i see those numbers show Should i watch them first before i start giving him HC food ? To see if it drops more but diffently run in safety mood when it gets too close to 50 ? What do yall usually do when you see the green numbers ? I know its what we want but i get nervous . How do yall handle these greens ? Thanks for any advise i have read all the stickys on the board but would like some of your in puts on what you usually do before i go into panic mood .I dnt want to panic and bring them too much up . I want to see them stable like we have seen the yellows .

What you do depends on how low the green number is. numbers above low 70s, I would just be attentive. In the 60s or 70s, I might give some low carb depending on how fast numbers are dropping. In the 50s, I'd give a small amount of high carb. A lot depends on how fast the numbers are dropping, when in the cycle this is happening, etc.

No matter how low the numbers are, you do not want to panic. Read over the How to Handle Low Numbers sticky and print it out if that would be helpful. Label your cans of HC so. you know what to reach for.
