WCR All his personal Ps in place. Now has evolved a new P: Pain in the butt :lol: In the old days testing and shooting time was simple and organized. Kitty up in the kitty cup bed, Insulin retrieved from refrigerator. Oh look,cute kitty waiting patiently! What a good boy. cat_pet_icon Now he's jumping off the table to the chair looking for treats and food. Before he waited for them to come to him. Now he pushes me to treat him before and after test by jumping down. Then I have to pick him up and if I don't have everything ready OOPS down again. :roll: He gives my hand head butts. Supposed to butter me up for treats but it's very hard to prick an ear that keeps moving or get the blood on a strip when his head is swiveling like he's in the Exorcist. However I'm really glad to see his old personality coming back even if he is making things a little more difficult Powder is his revised and improved self.
Happy to be in yellows to start the day. Have a feeling he's going down when I'm not home given the bounce last night but this is a quick recovery. Won,t be able to come home during day going to leave him 6% food cube with his LC.
I hope everyone has a great day. Special healing light to Doodle hope testing will go off without a hitch on Thursday.

morning! I see another kitty up on the yellow floor this morning ... I hope powder comes down some while you are gone, but not anything drastic, ok powder? Glad to hear that he is acting like his old self ... have a great day guys!

Thanks Pat,Peter and Devon. I'm sure he's going green but I won't catch it cause I have to leave for tbp. I'm leaving out higher carbs hoping to stop it. If it works then maybe He won't bounce and I can work him tonight. :smile: Catch everyone later no time to condo hop this am. Go for the green today sugar kitties :mrgreen:

It's so nice coming home and to be greeted so welcoming by Powder 'cause he must really love 'til I realize that DD has picked up his food for the two hour fast the last couple of days. :lol: (What a sweetie even with a sore tummy.) So he is hungry and follows me around at my feet saying feed me.So I test him which he thinks means he going to eat but I can't its too early. His eyes don't come off me and every movement has him getting up running for me. I feel so bad for him poor kitty.
Even if his numbers are not where they should be he is overall so much more engaged in his environment and awake more. He must feel a lot better.

Thanks Tena it worked and I think he's going down to blue at least. I hope I can stay awake or at least wake up to test to see if he goes green. Only time will tell ;-)

It is so nice to hear that Powder is getting back to his old personality. I love those kinds of stories. It brings it home that this is all so worth it.

You may already know about this, since Powder is President of the Grumpy Grooming Club,( I love that, by the way,) but it was new to me. In a round-about fashion, long story short, I went looking for a Zoom Groom yesterday after work. pictures in my condo. Shadow still doesn't love being brushed but she is much more accepting with the new toy and I can't believe how much hair it gets off her. spent a grand total of $7 on it, well worth it already.
