Zener is doing fine this morning. Appy is good. He has had all of his meds and is now napping on the bed with sleeping Annebean. It's going to be hard to get up as it is cloudy! That is rare around here. :-D :-D

OT: Guess which little yellow kitty had TWO bowls of food before she went outside this morning and then had another one before heading off for her nap in the heated hut? Yep, that would be Tillie. :-D :-D :-D She's had two doses of prednisolone (7.5 mg). Paws crossed that it is helping.

I went to feed the ferals and saw one of the kittens. For about a nanosecond. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Happy Caturday, LL!

Nice yellow start for Mr. Z - hopefully his tush is feeling better, and no one will be in his buttness for awhile :-D

Yay for a good appy for Zener and Tillie this morning. I hope that means the prednisolone is helping Tillie. Nice slide for Zener.

Yay! Sounds like Tillie's feeling pretty good :-D Zener is a clever kitty to have a nice nap after breaky I-) (I did the same thing) Funny on the feral kittens. It never ceases to amaze me how fast those wee guys are :lol:

WOOT WOOT! on a certain manxy cat diving into her fuds today! Pred can increase appetite - not a bad side effect in this case. How's rodent TV today?

I too was wondering how mousie tv was going today. :-D

Sure looks like a chipmunk, but I guess it's another species of rodent. Lucky Tillie and Zener to get to watch him/or her. I put an apple core out on our stone wall every day for our "chip-chip".

Hi guys, So happy to hear that Tillie has good appetite and Zener, too. The pred. is really helping Tillie.

All okay here tonight. Zener is eating well and starting off in the blues. Tillie is not eating as well tonight as she did during the day, but she had not lost any weight over the last week, and she is out watching rodent TV at the moment. Zener is up on top of his kitty condo (Versailles) under the heating vent. Beans are lazing around watching the US Women's Olympic qualifying bonspiel on TV - that's curling! It's a wild Caturday night in Flagstaff!

The main difference is a chipmunk and a ground squirrel is size, the ground squirrel is bigger, and coloring, the ground squirrel does not have markings that go around its head. Here's more about it:

Wish I could say I took the picture in our backyard, but the picture was taken at our local arboretum, where I volunteer in the summers, by one of the horticulture staff.

I love LL -- I learn something new each day!
I'm glad Tillie ate like a champ earlier -- that's a great sign that she's feeling better. I hope that after tonight's break she continues to eat well.
And Z's blue-ness is quite lovely.
It sounds like you all are having a nice evening!
