Good Morning LL ~O) ~O)
We had an entirely blue day yesterday! First one ever and hopefully many more to come. Then we will work on green! Ridiculous how happy this makes me :-D Twice seems to have grown out of his starving and eating 4-5 cans ff/day phase! He is still hungry at ps times, but only is eating what he wants of the 1st can, then picking away at the remainder during the rest of the day. Also exciting! :-D He is more playful and lovey than ever (and he was always plenty of both), and seems to be getting some of his strength back in his hind end. Not so wobbly.
The vet appt went fabulous. I keep forgetting to get copies of the blood work (will call monday), but he said both the civvies I brought in had perfect results and Rock's urinalysis showed no signs of bacteria or crystals. The bad news...$400+ to find out they are fine and the peeing in the house is behavioral. They do both need dentals, one asap. They tried to clip nails and some mats out of Rockford but he literally shredded them. I did warn them   They are going to wait and do it while he is under for his dental work.
Have a great day all and vines to those in need

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

So happy to hear Twice had a BLUE number day ... So weird how we live by colors now ;-)

Great to hear he is getting his strength back in hind keg and he is playing more ... Twice must really be feeling lots better :RAHCAT :RAHCAT :RAHCAT

Yikes on the $400 @ Vets ... What we don't do for our little furs of joy !

Hope you enjoy your Saturday !!!

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

Hi, Kim, YAY for a blue day yesterday! And it's soooo nice to see our surgarkitties feel great. I love that Twice's appy has evened out, and that he's loving and playful. Keep up the good work with him!!
And what a good vetty report for your civvies (well, except for the $$ and the dental and the shredding). But they're healthy, and that's what matters :-D (And they're loved, which matters, too!)

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

We love blue days here too! They are no stress, feel good kind of days!

Twice is doing so good, Kim :-D And what a nice vetty report~ except for the $$ of course. Keeps us beans working hard

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

What a great report on Twice. I'm glad you got good reports on the civvies. Those vet bills can really add up. Yuck.

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

I love blue days - almost my favorite type of cycle. Nice numbers, but lets you relax a bit. Such great news that Twice is feeling so much better now. What a great way to spend a Caturday. :-D :-D

I can sympathize on the vetty bills. I just took Neko in to find out she had beautiful b/w except her glucose was a high then. Peace of mind is worth something though. Sorry about the dentals. I guess that means two trips to town in one day.

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

Hi Kim,
Wonderful condo!!!
I am so glad that Twice is more playful and feeling better.
Also great news about the perfect b/w results!! Yay!!
Sorry about dental, but better get it done while they're healthy enough for anesthesia!

Re: 11/16 Twice AMPS 146

Awesome report for Twice AND the civvies. Bummer about the bill, though...never a good time! Our last two vetty visits with Noah were close to $1000, and that was with nothing terribly special being done. I couldn't believe one little cerenia injection at our vet was $42, when the ER only charged $26. Anywho...what can ya do...the really are worth every penny!

Have a great evening, Kim!

Hey Kim

LBG and I agree that Twices SS is looking awesome....and she studied it like crazy with her big brown eyes :-D :-D

Is he getting methylB12 for his neuropathy? It's great to hear he's feeling good and getting to be like his old self :-D

I'm happy to look at any bloodwork results if you like.

Have a great evening with Terry and the crew.

Hi Marje and sweet Gracie!

No I haven't been giving him anything for the neuropathy. The belief was that it would improve on its own? When do you know it is time to start using it? And yes! If you wouldn't mind looking over the bw that would be great :-D I forgot to get copies for myself so I will be calling on Monday to see if they will fax them to me. I will post Twice's on his ss.
Thank you Gracie for looking over Twice's ss for me! It's good to know the pros are taking care of us cat_pet_icon :-D :-D

Usually members give their cats zobaline for neuropathy. Sometimes it will improve as numbers improve...but it might not improve to pre-dx condition. It wouldn't hurt to supplement him.

Gracie sends Principessa hugs. Please let me know when the labs are on his SS :-D :-D :-D

Wow wow wow! Blues and greens, priceless!

We gave Zener Zobaline shortly after his neuropathy started appearing and it helped immensely.

Is that a 47 I see on the SS?  Congrats on the reduction.   Twice is really working the juice. So nice of him to save it for the weekend.
