[Scratchie'smom]

Yesterday

Good morning everyone! Home today (working but nice to be doing it from home) which will help in watching him with the increase. He's been a stinker this morning. Didn't want to test -maybe because I was trying to use the pen at first and he did not like the noise - so switched back to the lancet. I'll keep trying the pen. Then he didn't want to eat, then he fought me for his shot! What a stink pot today - he's not usually like that.

Anyway, I think - but could be very wrong - that the AMPS number today has some 'stress' in it from all the trying... :smile:

Morning Jo, good luck on this dose. It took me a while to decide between the pen and lancet. I went back and forth a few times and then finally decided the lancet was best for me. I hope Scratchie gets used to the routine. Have a nice day.

Morning Jo,
Try following him around occasionally with the device and click it, give him a treat. He'll learn the click is a good sound.
I think the device will really help you with your stiff hands over the tiny lancet.
Hope that increase is a good one.

Thanks Ann and Rhiannon. Hope what I'm seeing continues. He went upstairs and got in his toy box. He's got about 7 different toys scattered around upstairs and having a good old time. :lol:

Wow he is a happy, playful, cuddly boy today! I know it's not really good numbers but I'll take a 67 point steady decrease - yes I will. Keep coming down Scratchie!!!

Nice yellow surf today. They say flat yellows can mean action in the next cycle. Good luck with the pen. I agree with Rhiannon. Click it around Scratchie some and give him some treats so he'll get used to the noise.

Sunny yellows for Scratchie today, nice change from the pinks! Glad he is playful and cuddly Hope Scratchie likes his new dose and stops acting up for testing. Good luck with the lancet pen. We use plastic ballpoint pens around the house that we click around Jasper a lot so the clicking sound became routine for him.
