I did not give karo...only the HC food...but probably more than i should have....he ate the gravy for the most part...
i feel bad only giving him 0.5u....i filled the syringe to 1u then squirted out some to try to level to 0.75 but went too far and ended up being 0.5u....and in my state of mind trying to give the shot i did not get another syringe to re-do..... :cry:

Claudia....no worries. If it does not work out you can always go back up but it seems to me that his shed was pretty full so for tonight it was a good thing. :mrgreen:

From the bottom of my heart i truly thank you for your guidance, help, compassion and most important willingness to put up with me 
i know i hesitate but when he was first on insulin 2 yrs ago i didn't stay on for too long so i'm not an expert and it's like learning this stuff all over again...quite honestly...giving subq fluids it's nothing to me compared to insulin...for whatever reason it makes me nervous the high/low #s....him not being able to tell me how he feels it's the scary part...i'm sure i'm not the only one that feels like this....it just scares me to death!
i will go to bed now but first he gets more meds before calling it quits and leave food out for him to eat...usually he eats at 12:30 am....i can hear him munch away and then he comes crawling right next to me in bed ;-) he likes to cuddle....so if i can i will test if not then until tomorrow am...back at it i go....
