As for the hair, she hasn't grown her tummy hair back yet from ultrasounds and echos. Maybe a chemo thing. Or an older cat with many issues thing.

Actually, Harvey's hair didn't grow back after his last ultrasound. I never thought about it, but you could be right about the Leukeran.

I'm so glad you have her home. I, too, would be lying next to her all night, making sure she's breathing okay.

Neko's more active than she's been for a couple of weeks. Makes me wonder how long she's had fluid on her lungs. She's down at the bottom of the stairs for the first time in ages. Appy is pretty decent. I'm giving her tonight off of assist feeding, but she's still done reasonably well. Her breathing is definitely less laboured.

Of course it won't reduce the bill any

Turns out there may have been a bit of guilt. I was expecting more on the bill, but she was technically only there less than 48 hours. Not all of the radiographs were charged and I think some of the other charges went away too. The IM vet is pretty good about not charging absolutely everything he can.
