Good Morning LL. DH here. Sending thoughts and prayers to all who need them. Marjorie is out helping Rosalie get Morgaine to the vet. I'm sure they will have an update soon.

I was trying to help out last night doing the dosing and shooting since Marje has been so sick. I must have screwed something up with the shot though, as Gracie started in blue, came down into the 80's at +3 and shot back up to mid-yellow by +6. The shot looked good as I was doing it. Marje said I didn't hold the needle in/plunger down as long as she does, and I withdrew the needle faster than she does. So I must have short shotted her, since she hasn't done what she did last night since we started Lev. I know everyone has goofed up shots before, but it still makes me angry with myself. It looked like she was finally clearing the bounce and getting some good numbers on this dose, and then had to spend another night in yellow. I'll have to do better next time.

Gracie is doing fine this morning in spite of me. 4 P's in place and spunky as ever. She and Tobey have been playing with the undercover mouse toy, and trading swats if one of them hogs it too much. Tobey wanted donuts for breakfast, but I told him his Aunt Celi said he couldn't have them anymore. I think he said something politically incorrect, but he was speaking cat so I'm not 100% sure. The tone and inflection were there though.

Looks like Gracie is coming down for you! Don't be too hard on yourself Mike. We have ALL done it and it is easily recoverable.

Hope Marje is feeling better!! It is so nice of her to go help Rosalie. I am anxious to hear what they find out.

Hi guys .. don't be to hard on yourself about the short shot .. we've all done them before and all the cat's have recovered, so no biggie! I am glad rosalie has marjorie nearby so they can get morgaine to the vet and figure out what's going on .. Tobey, gracie, be good now, share equally! :-D

I hate to hear that someone has had a problem like this, but it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one! You're not either ;-) The kitties get over our human failings, somehow.

Good evening friends.

Gracie is coming back down and we hope she continues where she left off last night. I feel horrible for Mike because he feels so horrible about the partial shot but it happens to us all..experienced or not.

Gracie is up on her bookcase right now just making bread like crazy in her blankie....motor going so loud I can hear it across the room. Sweet baby!

Sorry I haven't been around today. Still feeling very poorly. After I got home from going with Rosalie and Morgaine to the vet, I had a bite of chicken soup, took some nyquil, and I have been out like a light. I have to get much better
between now and Friday or Mike will have to take off work to help me take care of the kitties. Esp if Gracie starts rocking this dose.

Take care of yourself. It was so nice of you to help get Morgaine to the vet, I hope all went well. Don't worry Mike we all do it and Gracie is getting right back to where she needs to be. :YMHUG:

Hi guys - feel better Marje! and mike - no worries on the hot. We've all been there, She'll recover soon enough. It's a low yellow - bet she hits blues soon.

So sorry that you are feeling poorly Marje, this is last far too long! I know exactly how Mike feels. It's terrible when you think you made a goof. A wise person on LL wrote to us "it's one number among thousands". We have paws crossed tomorrow is a better day for all in your household. :YMHUG:

i was hoping to come to gracie's condo and read that you're feeling better. this bug is like a super-bug that knocks people out. i'm so sorry.

hope you feel better really really really soon.

and mike, everybody's done it. don't beat yourself up - it happens and the kitters recover!

DH here - This is about what Gracie did last night, although she got into green a little earlier in the cycle and was going back up by this point. It will be interesting to see what she does at +6. She got a good shot tonight, so if she does a repeat of last night it will be head scratching time.
 
DH here - looks like she may be setting up a nice surf for a bit. She was already back up to 249 by this time last night.
