I forgot to post this yesterday so really the reading is a day old. He's been a bit of a food vampire lately so I was a bit worried when I tested him, but rather relieved to see he's staying consistent.

I hope all the kitties and caregivers are are managing to get some sleep and some nice numbers.

Took you 24 hours to recover from testing him? :p

Glad to see he is still in normal numbers! Does he still give you hell while testing? :-)
When you test make sure it's not less than 3 hours after the last meal.

Haha. 24 hours to psych myself up and 24 hours to report. Looks like he's going to get poked again though you because I checked him two hours after he ate, not three. I'll whisper in his ear that it's what the experts told me to do.

He came and settled between my legs and gave me a "this again?" look. We were both a little rusty. His eyes looked right into my soul to let me know that if this was going to become routine he was going to seek revenge.

No need to poke him again. He is bound to be lower 3 hours after food than he was 2 hours after. Whenever the next test is due, poke him 3 hours after food.

You really need to write that book! You always crack me up!

I will make a note of that for his next test, thank you. I think we're both relieved we don't have to do it again tomorrow. I made up for today's test when I discovered a freeze dried chicken treat with catnip. He scored twice because Typewriter just licked the catnip off and walked away. Nothing like another cat's freshly bathed treats.

You really need to write that book! You always crack me up!

If I ever do you will be part of the story.

Hi Acadaca, just wanted to stop and give you and Field Commander a quick hello and a quick goodnight. I don’t see you often on the board so didn’t want to pass up a chance to check in, give some hugs and hope to see you both again soon. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you! I disappeared for a bit because I went to help out my mom and aunt for a couple days and it ended up being well over a week before I could come home. I thanked my lucky stars the entire time that I was able to fly by the seat of my pants like that as I would have felt terrible leaving them when I had planned. It made me so grateful for this board because it gave me the ability to leave FCC with my partner and the autofeeder. I appreciate you stopping by. I hope you are doing well.

Hi Acadaca, glad you are home safe. Also, happy to know you have a partner you trust to leave you kitties with. Dolly never took to an autofeeder. I tried about 5 different ones. Lost a lot of sleep picking up Dolly’s nighttime dish and giving her fresh food. Now I miss that among a million other things. We will get a couple of kitties in the not to distant future. I could never replace my Dolly girl. but we need animals in our home. Field Commander’s numbers look perfect. Thank you for getting back to me. Take good care and give your kitties a hug for me. :cat::bighug::cat::bighug:
