AMPS 228.

I'm starting to switch him back to his normal non-fish flavor fancy feast since I think the fish flavor food every single day is too much for his stomach. I also reached out to his vet and asked her her opinion on him getting Ondansetron. I found it on Chewy.com for way cheaper than Cerenia. I am hoping his vet says its safe for him so I can start doing that. I am also going to buy him some Probiotics for his pancreatitis, hoping that will help his pain and the puking.

I am just trying to keep my head up about everything. It seems like nothing is really going right..his blood sugar STILL isn't under control yet and its been almost 6 months, I cant seem to find a food flavor that he will just stick to and eat, which is costing me a lot of money and I am wasting a lot of food, and he wont stop puking. And to add the cherry to the top, I am so limited with funds that I can only afford to do so much. Again, I am really really trying to keep a positive mindset about this and I am trying to best that I can with the money that I have. I just needed to rant a little bit this morning. I am hopefully going to get a work from home job soon, prayingggggg hard that I do! I had two job interviews this month, both work from home and both I would be getting paid more than I do at my current job. So if I get one of those jobs, I can be home to monitor/test him more frequently, and I will have extra money from not having to spend it on gas. Praying I can get this figured out for Bubbas and get him back to just being a normal feeling baby boy :(

Hi Katrina, you’re doing great with Bubbas :bighug::bighug:
I don’t know that I would’ve had as much ability if I were a lot younger to handle this and you’re doing a great job. :)

I’m keeping paws and fingers crossed that you are able to land a new job to keep you home with more money very soon. Keep at it and keep doing what you’re doing.

Keep posting and keep asking questions and make sure you use the question mark in the title when you need some attention and answers. Also try to tag some of the experts on this forum. They are so knowledgeable and helpful.

Try to keep your chin up and take it one day at a time because Bubba needs you to stay positive.

I’ve been dealing with this disease for over a year and Ivy is still not regulated either so some cats it’s a quick result and some cats take a lot longer. ;)

Big hugs to you and Bubbas :bighug::bighug::bighug:
