Not much going on here. I tested later than usual this morning...Ms P seems a little sluggish, but still reported for duty. Appy is happy, kitty is snuggly and currently enjoying the sun in our back room. Her gelcap has gone down so quickly these past few days that I end up wondering if it REALLY went down :lol: ! But, after pat-downs to make sure it's not stuck to her fur and searching the area surrounding her, all evidence points to it being in her belly. (Note that I don't bother with the "anti-jinx" with regards to her gelcaps anymore...I already know there will be bad days, but that most days will be decent, or at least OK
.)
My Dad is feeling better...still not 100%, but improving. One more day of ABs. Hopefully they can do his chemo on Monday. We know his platelet count is fine now, but the infection may cause a delay. Hopefully not, though, because he's on such a good roll it would be terrible to break the momentum, plus if they have to delay, then he'll be crashing for Thanksgiving.
I'm off today - a rare Saturday off! But, I have tons of housework to do. Last night, I paid the price for too many adult beverages on Thursday night and crashed HARD right after dinner. Today is catch-up day all-around.

) Glad you were able to enjoy and partake in some adult beverages the other night. We all need those nights...once in a blue moon!!! ;-) Sending prayers to your dad. Hopefully, they can go ahead with chemo on Monday. Would be extra nice for him to feel good on Thanksgiving! Have a wonderful Caturday, Amy and Trixie!!
