Yesterday

Hi Everyone,
The sun has been out from time to time and it is good to see it. Going for a walk shortly.
Rusty had a good night, ate all his nighttime fuds, and was eager for breakfast. He really likes those old cans (almost expired) of Dave's 95% turkey and turkey liver. Interesting that after he rejected the first one (more than a year and a half ago) I put them away. I wonder if the newer cans will be as appetizing? If so, he'll have both the Dave's 95% Chicken and chicken liver and the 95% turkey to enjoy.
This morning Rusty enjoyed his combing, his second sitting of breakfast, a brief play with the bug-on-a-wand that his Auntie Linda gave him, and a good surveying of the south lawn from the top of the radiator and his perch over the radiator.
The mountain club's monthly potluck is this evening and I'm down for a salad. Much easier than a main dish.
Wishing all a fine day, safe travels for Wendy and Neko, and sending vines to all kitties and beans in need.

WTG Rusty! I see that the lagoon meister is back on duty! Keeping the beans guessing on the fuds, huh? it is your sacred duty! Your morning sounds wonderful. Maybe some outdoor time later today?

Enjoy your walk Ella. The rains ave finally stooped here, and I see one tiny tiny spot of blue sky. I had best get out there soon!

Have fun at the potluck. I was always relieved when I got the salad option for potlucks. So much easier! Have fun!!

Good job, Rusty! The Lagoon crowd is always glad to see the Meister. Our weather is a bit unsettled but I got in a bike ride (22 miles) this morning. The clouds and wind moved in and the last few miles were a bit chilly. I think I've warned up now.

I'd like to ride my bike, but I'm not taking any chances while I'm still recovering. I am "riding" on a wind trainer in the cellar. Better than nothing. And the roads here will be snowy and icy soon in any event.
Nice that you got in 22 miles.

"Warmed up" not "warned up"! I here the snowplow going by, running this morning could be an adventure. Yes, you need to be careful until you are completely healed. Don't want to have a setback. The windtrainer in the caller sounds perfect.
