It took me 4 tries to get enough blood today! Usually Pepper gushes like a fountain. I got one error message - not enough blood, one stick with no blood at all, one stick where I got plenty of blood but forgot to push in the test strip all the way into the meter(Why isn't the meter beeping?? Oh, crap!). Pepper was not amused - lots of irritated tail thrashing. I think I may have finally drained his ears dry.

This increase doesn't seem to be doing much, but the slightest hint of yellow on his spreadsheet and Pepper bounces.

i HATE it when they have cold ears.. its like getting blood from a stone. Maybe they should change the saying to "getting blood from a cold cat ear". My bayer contour meter which is more accurate needs more blood than the bad Freestyle.. and I wast maybe 1/3 strips by not having enough blood. I need to warm and rub the ear and squeezy the area around it to get enough and even then sometimes its not enough :evil:

Do you have a profile? Not sure if there are medical issues here?
