They do drink less water after changed to an all canned food diet. You can try adding a bit more water to their canned meal to encourage water intake.

Looking nice this morning!!!! Scrabble almost pretty much stopped drinking water when he was regulated. I worry now that he is drinking too much water. It is a good sign when they are not drinking, I think they get enough from the canned food. Sometimes I will mix a little water in the food to make it a little gravy-like. Thank you, I was thinking if canned food is enough, because she was on boiled chicken for a while.. I guess you've answered that.

I am trying to add water to her food everytime I feed her. she take it nicely.

I'm seeing some pink ! hope I'm correct Tuna Flack FF is a low carb ??? cuz I feed her 3 hours ago from that only, and now I see some pink ?

Probably she is drinking a little you just dont see her. They dont need as much when they go to wet food.. Plus if her numbers are a little better that helps too. If you are still worried you could test her for dehydration but I think she is probably fine.. ie are her gums tacky? Is she lethargic? What about if you pull some skin from the back of the neck? Does it pop back quickly or slowly?

Numbers are looking good.. maybe without the HC yesterday she would have dropped enough for a dose decrease.. next time if you are comfortable I would wait 15 -30mins and retest first. If she had gone under 50 it would have meant a decrease. Maybe tomorrow night since she is likely bouncing right now.

she doesn't have any symptoms of what you just mentioned ! but I'm sure shes not drinking because the only time that she can drink is when I remove the collar ! and whenever I do I stay close to keep her away from licking her tummy.

I only manage to add little water to her food when I feed her. she likes gravy so I try to make her one.
