Ugh, I've never had to do it... when she needed it before, she ended up in hospital. She did drink some water about half an hour ago which I took as a positive sign. The mirtazapine and ondansetron worked really well, appetite is good. I just hate not knowing what's going on!
 
Those cursed ketones! I'm glad she seems ok though and is eating. I'm guessing you ruled out the usual URI, UTI, teeth sort of stuff?

Hmm...good points. Usually she loses appetite first which is my indicator of the other issue but thanks for mentioning, I will check in with the vet. She's never had ketones going up this high before unless she's been ill.

@+9.5 her ketones back down to 0.3! but BG back up to 292 so looks like I'll be bringing out the R again at PMPS...and call the vet tomorrow.

Yes I just know when Mr Kitty gets up around 0.6-0.8 something is brewing.

Quite a drop in ketones!
