He is bouncing from a combination of a fast drop and some time in below normal numbers. I am sure he will recover soon.
Congrats on the reduction What a surprise! Just yesterday, I was looking at his SS and wondering if he needs an increase!

I know what you mean about the increase.

It did cross my mind.

I do wonder whether this apple cider vinegar wash I am doing on him ( he licks it all off after) pre feed is lowering his BG - so its not 'real' so to speak.

I guess we will see in time. Fingers crossed.

Do you disapprove of how I managed it?

I wouldn't say disapprove.

But if hes due a dose reduction, I dont want to interfere in that.

You do want a dose reduction to happen if he needs one. On the other hand, you do want him to spend as much time in healing green as possible. That means avoiding steep drops if you can, which can cause bounces and higher numbers.

Yes I agree. I am really just learning and I guess it will take alot of trial and error to see what works for him.

He did have a big bounce.

I am a bit late filling everything in this evening as I have been training up my niece to inject.

We are taking it really slowly! Its quite something!
