Good morning, everyone! Marjorie, Sienne and I have been chatting... with everything that Jill has done for all of us and for FDMB, we'd like to take the opportunity to thank her by doing something to make life a little easier for as she and her DH Mike deal with his medical crisis and recovery.
Where I'm from, when someone is ill, you take their family a casserole (or "covered dish" if you live a bit further north!). Taking that sentiment a bit more 21st century, Marjorie has found a personal chef in the Nashville area that would prepare and deliver either a series of meals or larger casseroles that Jill would be able to simply reheat. The nice thing about this instead of restaurant gift cards is that the personal chef would be able to work with any dietary restrictions Mike might have upon his return home from the hospital. There's also just something about a home cooked meal.
I know Jill has touched so many lives with her dedication to helping folks here and wanted to give everyone the chance to participate if they'd like. We are collecting donations via paypal, and if you PM me, I'll send you my paypal address. Marjorie has spoken with the personal chef company about our plans, and they are willing to work with Jill to come up with the best option for the use of the funds we collect.
I said it in Willie's condo today, and I'll say it again here... the power of this place is magic!! Keep the prayers coming!
