Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride.

WOO HOO!!!! IT IS FRIDAY FURDAY! :-D :-D :-D I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was a day of trying to escape rainy weather! we actually did fairly well with that. We made a lake trip and a beach trip too, and all the time managed to stay dry. Well, William and I did, Nicholas per the norm, sent as much time in the water as out of it.  Mornings with William and Nicholas continue to be one of our fav times together. It is very routine, but both boys really enjoy how our day gets going. We seemed to have spent alot of time on the road yesterday... I love traveling with nicholas: it is never dull. or boring. All i have to do is glance in the back seat and those Many Faces of travel always puts a smile on my face. It is an awesome time spent on the road. Nicholas being Nicholas, and William babbling most of the time... Here's what I wrote in last night's post about yesterday; "Hi everyone! Another late night for me, and I'm sorry I've missed so many of you. I've read the subject lines... wish I had time to visit each and all. It was been a great day here, but a very busy one. 6:30 PM, and I'm just getting home, settling in for the night. weather was OK today - alot of rains this morning, a nice afternoon, some clouds. There is alot of cold and wet, maybe snow, on the horizon, well anything over 1000 feet does. Just the cold and wet coming here, and more snow for the higher places. We did go out today, to lake padden in bellingham, on a weather dudes thoughts that there would be no rains, and minimal clouds. :-D oh sure... rained the whole drive up  , but and a wow: lake Padden was rainless, where the rest of bellingham was under siege. we got lucky. it was cold though, maybe 40.Nicholas had fun and liked the lake but was disappointed when he couldn't find a creek that fed the lake. ;-) Always thinking that one. William didn't mind the cold - wow on that: a non-fussy baby. :-D :-D He rally is so easy going, just goes with the flow. it was a good time. We had just as much fun camping out in the car for lunch as we did on the lake. We also made Juanita beach late in the afternoon. it's good spot for the little guy, plus it's just 5 minutes from his dad's work, so that aspect works well. That was fun too. That kid I swear does not feel, or rather mind, the cold. I forgot to put on his boots, so there he is wading in and playing with the water, mindless of the temp. It is kinda fun, and amazing, to watch. It has been nice there the past couple of night: we catch the sun going down, makes for a pretty scene. There is this lifeguards chair there on the beach. Nicholas had to climb up the thing, sit in the seat. Major cool he says, and that he can see everything! He liked the sun, talked about how pretty it was over the water. sheshhhh - what 2.5 yr old talks about sunsets? love it. what a nice day.  " Picassa links: Lake Padden, and Juanita Beach at Sunset For some reason the beach photos duplicated... sorry for the doubles!
(as a side note: it seems Picassa has changed the way the albums display. They highlight only a few photos. If you want to see them all, click on the "all photos" button, in the upper left section of the page)

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!   And little to write about. what s up with that? They really have been good kitties yesterday - even Lola. She ran alot, she always does, but nothing was Lola-ized. AWESOME! But a large part of me knows it is just the calm before the next storm.    With the nasty weather yesterday all kitties were in sleep mode. All of them snuggled up. I was soooooooooo jealous! ;-) Bug was such a good boy yesterday. He let Nicholas come and pet him, even let him give him a kiss on his forehead! AWESOME! Nicholas was so thrilled that Bug stayed, didn't take off. Slowly he is accepting the craziness that come with a 2 yr old.  I still remember Mannie when Nicholas found his voice, and his legs. He was on "LOOK OUT" mode.  It seems to be the same with Bug. He likes him well enough, just not the LOUD and the FAST, Just like Mannie. Lola on the other hand it right there with Nicholas, running the halls and being loud. LOL: new best buds,  GO KITTIES! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!!

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, again, maybe.... as yesterday, alot depends upon the weather. We are due for another nasty storm, so I hope it holds off til the evening. It may end up being a local river park today. We also plan on swimming in the evening, if Nicholas still wants to go. I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Aw, how sweet that Bug is slowly settling in with the kids! Some kitties just take their time. Brrrrrr...I'm cold just thinking about Nicholas splashing around without boots!!!

Have a great Friday, Michelle!

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) It was so nice to see Bug sit and wait for Nicholas to say hello, pet him, etc. I did my silent high five! -- and oh yes on Nicholas and that no boot thing. It had to have been cold... he just didn't mind, it was worth being able to splash etc. Once back to the car he was adamant though that he get dry clothes, socks, shoes. well duh!  I love that kid. And yes: I always pack a change of everything, several changes actually. ;-)

Hi Michelle,
Those are wonderful pics of the boys at Lake Padden. Nicholas is such a loving big brother to William. They both look so happy. Wow on the wet clothes and shoes/socks! Good thing you come prepared (but of course you would!!!).

Have a great river trip today. Interesting how much your "microclimate" resembles ours. Here it can be raining/snowing and 2 miles away the sun is out.

Hey Elsa, Rusty is expecting you again today to help plan for the full moon party on Sunday. He said you promised to brew up some catnip cocoa for the gang. Bring Bug and Lola.
Thanks for the delicious ~O) ~O) this morning.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

That's nice that Bug stayed around and let Nicholas pet him and kiss his head. Maybe he'll finally start staying around more often.

I'm glad you and the boys were able to get out yesterday. Hopefully the weather cooperated and you were able to go somewhere nice today.

Elsa thank you for the ~O) ~O) this morning. DELICIOUS!
Great pics of the boys! They always look so happy, does the heart good to see the world through the eyes of the wee ones. Nice that your weather is holding up enough to still get out there and have some fun :-D I'm curious as to what will happen in the time to come now that Lola is apprenticing Nicholas  Those new bff's could cause some mischief I have no doubt!
Have a great night Michelle

Evening Michelle - good on you finding some dry weather yesterday. I bet the boys were tired after all those different adventures. Just how many spare pare of pants and socks do you need to pack?

I hope you found something dry today - maybe inside. It is in downpour mode here and noticeably cooler. I even saw SNOW on some cars near here. :o They must have just come down from our local mountain.

Scritches to the fur kids from me. It's great Bug is warming up to the Nicholas and accepting kisses now. :-D

Hi Michelle

Hope Mother Nature cooperated today ~ I am sure you all had a great time even if the weather wasn't the best :-D
So sweet to hear how Bug is slowly warming up to Nicholas and learning the house routine with little ones cat_pet_icon

Funny how little ones can tolerate cold, heat, wet, and any kind of discomfort when they are having fun!! No complaints there

Hope you have a great night!
