Happy Caturday LL!! Cheering on JuJu and hoping he can start a trial soon; also paws crossed for Chris Farley's trial! Many caring thoughts to all who are ailing.
It's interesting to me how Gracie's and Tobey's patterns change with the cooling weather. Last night, I went to wash my face to get ready for bed and turned around and they had both followed me into the master bedroom and were already IN bed waiting for me    It was only +4 and I last feed Gracie at +5 so they had a while to wait. They both cuddled right up to me when I did lay down and we had a great snooze until +7.5. I had not intended to check Gracie again until +8 but she woke me up climbing on me and meowing. She does sometimes climb on me but she doesn't usually talk a lot at night so I thought I better see if she was telling me anything. She was coming down but not fast so I cuddled her back in with me and she went back to sleep, purring like her sweet baby self. When the alarm went off, they were both raring to go and were wild but as soon as T/F/S was done and I climbed back into bed to read and have my first cup of
, they climbed back in and settled around either side of my legs. cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon
Mike and I have worked hard to get Gracie's weight down over the last few years. She wasn't fat but she was a bit "shubby" as Lupita would say. Lately, we've been having to feed the curve a little more especially around nadir and if she's dropping and I worry it might put some weight back on her. We used to have a great 10% food that worked super by itself for slowing her down fast or bringing her up fast so we didn't have to overfeed but it had fish and she became sensitive to it and we've also taken all fish out of her diet. The Cowboy Cookout, which is supposed to be 18%, isn't really working that well for her and we've been having to use karo which we do not like to do. Because of her liver issues, I'm so cautious about what I give her and I worry that the FF gravies just won't agree with her so today I'm going to get some Soulistic Good Karma and Autumn Bounty both of which are 20-23% and have tons of gravy and see if they will work better without having to give her so much food or karo.
Thanks to Ann/Tess for all the work she did on the syringe comparisons. WOW!!!! What an awesome tool.
Have a lovely day.
