Corduroy's been doing a lot better! He's still not eating as much as we would like, but I think the diarrhea has gone away for both of them and this morning, he was jumping REALLY high up against the wall trying to "catch" a shadow (he's obsessed with shadows
)
The only problem I see right now is that I don't see ANY poop in their litter boxes :? Maybe they pooped it all out and don't have anymore left! Also, I'm wondering if the raw food mixture that I gave them the other day has anything to do with it. I had the Feline's Pride pre-mix for meat w/o bone, but had meat w/bone on-hand. Well, I called the Feline's Pride nutrition department, as I had before, and the guy on the phone told me that it is fine to use that pre-mix with meat with bone. I even asked him again before I got off the phone and he said that it would be no problem.
After I had already mixed the meat and pre-mix up, and had given them about two ounces, I get a call from another representative stating that it's NOT okay, and that it would have too much calcium and phosphorous this way. Of course, I haven't given it to them again, and after talking to Jennifer, the main nutrition rep, who is very helpful, I might add, I am sending the pre-mix I have back and she is sending me the pre-mix that calls for meat with bone. Whew! THAT'S a long story!
