Yesterday's Condo

So today we are surfing blue. I'm fine with that. Much better than yellow. Cinco was a little underwhelmed with both breakfasts today, but the addition of some kitty crack straightened that right out! He just reminded me it was time for lunch and is in the process of cleaning his plate - same food, sans kitty crack. :roll:

Sasha was almost interested in breakfast this morning. She ate a couple teaspoons of cat food before turning away for good. I broke out the baby food and she ate about half a jar. I'll be taking her some more shortly.

Does anyone else get a little misty eyed when they watch their kitty sleeping? There's just something about seeing Cinco stretched out on the sofa (or curled up with his head upside down) that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I think about all he's been through in his life and how glad I am that he is safe and warm and loved now. Don't mind me... I get this way every now and then...

Totally....both eating AND sleeping. Trix had a really crappy start, too, and I absolutely LOVE seeing how content she is now...it fills my heart like crazy. I just wish we could make ALL of the safe and warm.

Nice surf for Cinco today! And at least Sasha is thinking about cat fuds. I can't remember if I mentioned this before...have you tried using baby food as a "gravy" on top of her cat food? Maybe that will get her interest. Thank goodness she is DONE with chemo!!

Amy, I have tried that. No sale. It doesn't work for Harvey, either - he just skims the baby food off the top!

I just got another 1/3 of a jar into Sasha. She's still scratching at her neck and none of the tops I've put on her seem to protect it. Even the soft claws don't prevent her from irritating the skin. I may have to go back to the doggie socks. :sad:

Hi Tricia,
I love to watch Rusty sleep, too. He snores!

I hope you can solve the food thing. We often have to make sure that Rusty eats and I find it helps to warm up the bowl of food by putting it in an outer bowl of hot water for a short time.

Looks like he may have surfed blue while we were gone. Of course, for all I know he slipped down to the lagoon and back - I checked and all his feet are dry, but you never know about these sneaky cats! :lol:

Ella, Harvey and Sasha both snore. Sasha's snore is louder when her asthma is worse. I don't know what Harvey's excuse is, but it's kinda cute! :razz:
