Yesterday overnight Butters surprised me with a surf in the high 100s. I thought she was going to bounce, so it was a lovely little surprise. Today, who knows what she has planned.

Well....I can't lift my arm over my head because of the pain from sleeping weirdly. But I wouldn't change a thing. The snuggles are good for the soul. A well functioning, pain-free shoulder is so overrated.

Can I come and lounge on this virtual beach with Butters? The weather is absolutely atrocious.

She made a hasty retreat from the virtual beach. Hopefully she didn't stand you up.

I thought she was becoming more comfortable in the 100s, and now here we are back in the 300s. But overall she has seen more 100s lately, so hopefully she will get back to the lower numbers soon. Or not. I mean, she's gonna do whatever she wants anyways.

It's the one-third / two-third rule. A cat shall place itself on the bed in a position which renders two-thirds of the bed useless, forcing the human to contort itself into the remaining one-third.

I know that rule well...I just never had a name for it until now.

It was out for a while but came back on. I bet it will go out again, though. I hope yours has stayed on. The wind is nasty. Stay safe.
