Good morning!
AMPS 124 shooting 2.25u
Last night I filled Boomer's auto feeder like normal but I also used an old auto feeder that only has 2 dishes and I put small amounts of food in each dish. This feeder opens somewhat arbitrarily but I tried to set them so they would open between 1:00 and 2:00.
He did eat out of them but he still woke me up at 2:05 and I had to scoop the food from his regular auto feeder out onto a plate and feed him a forkful before he would eat.
He also woke us at 5:00 although he did come to bed when I called him.
Oh and for the last 3 nights he's been crying a few minutes after we went to bed....he starts in the living room and gradually makes his way to the bedroom door and then comes to bed when called.
Tonight I will try putting all foods in the other auto feeder and setting one to open between 1:00 and 2:00 and the other to open between 4:00 and 5:00. With this feeder I have no way of eliminating the availability of food after 5:00 so at shot time I won't know whether his BG is food influenced (I suspect it was this morning).
Allen fasted overnight, received his alendronate (for hypercalcemia) and can eat in 2 hours. About half an hour after giving him the alendronate we gave him his diazoxide and he immediately barfed it up. I guess from now on we'll have to wait for 2 hours until he can eat before giving the diazoxide.
On the agenda today......going Christmas shopping with my youngest daughter!
