Good evening,

after a night with some higher blue numbers we are back to yellow-pink-red. But I have good hope it becomes better if the depot builds up again after the furshot and being on the new dose.

Binie was quite lively today and we even played a bit. That gives me hope she gets back on track and didn't loose all the progress she made. I did my best to have a closer look at her breast today, which is not easy because there are folds where the wound parts are hiding. As far as I can see, everything is covered with scabs which is a good thing. I am unsure how long I should continue the coconut oil treatment. I read, that some cats get behavioral problems and start to overgroom because they want to remove the oil from the fur. Of course I don't want to create a new problem. Maybe I pause today and just use the collodial silver.

I hope everyone has a a relaxed start of the weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike,
It’s good to hear that the wound looks better and has formed scabs. I guess if you take a break from the coconut oil you’ll see if things look better or worse so that will be way to guide you.
Hopefully you will see some movement with her BG as she recovers from the fur shot plus, maybe she’s bouncing from those blues as well.
So hoping for a gentle slide down back to blues again:cool:.
Keep on going, one day at a time Heike, you’re doing great you’re so on top of everything you’re not missing a beat. :cat:
I hope you both get a good rest tonight and I’m glad to hear she was playful today. That’s always a good sign that she’s feeling better.

Have a relaxing night and hope you have a calm relaxing weekend too.

Thank you so much Staci! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I think I will skip the coconut oil tonight and just use the collodial silver. I hope she goes a bit more down tonight. She is still in red numbers and I don't see her trending down. Patience is not my second name... Hope you have a relaxed day and will get another good sleep tonight with sweet Ivy! :bighug::kiss::bighug:
