Squallie is full of beans today, and very pleased with himself, although we had "roof monsters" (any scary noises coming from outside) working on trees today, so he didn't eat as well as he has been lately.

Prayers and healing vines for all who need them.

Haha, "roof monsters". they drive Bronx nuts!
Lol! They drive Squall nuts, too. Squallie has PTSD from the time a huge storm dropped a tree on our house with us inside, it was the worst nightmare any of us have ever been through! I have never seen cats that terrified before. Between that experience and the resultant roof-work, poor Squall is terrified of "roof monsters", which now translates into anything outside the house that makes loud noises. :cat:

I can't imagine how scary that was. No wonder he gets scared.
Carla, it was really terrifying, I never want to go through anything like that again. I'm scared to death of storms, now, myself, especially if there is any wind. The poor cats were petrified and kept trying to get away from it, literally flying over our heads as we were huddled on the floor in the center of the house, and of course there was nowhere they could go to get away. The lights were out, the storm was raging all around us, the wind was howling, the power lines came down and we could see the blue flashes from them, and hear glass breaking and things crashing into our roof (we have 3 trees that are over 125 ft, and have shallow roots, next to our house) but we couldn't tell how much damage was being done or how much worse it would get. Truly the most terrifying experience I have ever had, so I can really understand Squallie's fear of "roof monsters."
