Mr Greenie is in da house  !
Trix is feeling awesome this morning...spunky and energetic and feisty with an ecstatic appy with Mannie Fuds Dance followed by a Happy Crap Dash  ! She did awesome with the gelcap this morning...I thought for sure I placed it very poorly and it was going to get spit out - but she juggled it to the right spot and swallowed it smoothly. Thank you, Trix, for making up for my mistakes...what a good girl!
When I spoke to my Dad in the morning yesterday, he said he was feeling a bit better. I wasn't able to call him last night, though, as we had to go out right after work for our niece's birthday dinner. It was late and involved too many adult beverages (Pumpkin Pie Martini = YUM!), so I knew better than to call him when I got home. (That's also why I stayed away from the computer...I don't let myself drink-n-post
!) But, I just spoke to my Mom a little while ago, and he's not feeling all that great. His temperature is better, but very slightly elevated, and he just feels blah. It's very hard to be patient, but we do have to remember that it takes everyone a while to get over an illness, and with a compromised immune system, it will take him even longer. I'm still pretty bummed and stressed.
If that isn't enough, we had s*** last night  .....ARGH!!!!! It stuck to the grass and cars - I had to scrape my windshield this morning. it was in the 70s just 2 days ago  .It will be gone shortly, but I did NOT want to see that stuff ever again. It had better not be a sign of things to come....
Gotta get myself moving now...Have a great day, LL!
