Took Smokey in this morning, she's been bloated the last few days especially at night. Looks to be constipation, which she has had problems with so we are trying Miralax. She doesn't want to eat it. Of course as soon as a got home from picking up the Miralax she was standing behind me in the litter box going. At least she isn't overly backed up anymore while we find a way to get her to take it.
We are adjusting some of her compounded meds today. Those high numbers last night came after her meds. They are taking out some artificial sweeteners and doing a new mix on one that just smells so bad it stresses her out getting it and I can't stand giving it.
To answer Sienne's question yesterday about the infection, I don't really believe my vet thinks she has an infection, but believes Smokey is dying and it doesn't really matter, if the AB reduced the symptoms then we'll just give her the AB.
