Good morning (yes, it should say evening...keep reading!),

Deborah report:
haha...I started typing this condo during my Department Chair meeting this morning and ended up not getting very far, saving as draft, and only now am I able to get back to it! 1200+ cheesecake items arrived today...during my planning period. I have 5 students that happened by my room to help me unload them from the freezer trucks and start sorting and organizing into student orders. We got all the orders done in ~2 hours!!!! I'm exhausted but so proud of those kids!

Now to the cat report:
Like many of you have been through with your cats, Shasta just seems different. Her numbers are looking good, but her personality has taken a shift...moody and gloomy. She's eating ok, but it's back to a few of our old tricks with enticing Fortiflora & FF Elegant Medley in the middle! She's been preening and purry, but sometimes I wonder if it's just open mouth breathing?! Pee is good, but not much poopy. I'm giving her 1/8 tsp of miralax in the morning. Should I increase a little? I'm about to have a little playtime with her, but then it's bedtime for me.

I admit I have been really bad about weighing her because up until this past week, I thought she was doing great, but I'm feeling her hip bones and spine a little more than I want. On Oct. 8th (ish) she was 10.52lb and tonight she is 10.36lb. Like I said, not much change, but now I'm feeling extra paranoid. :YMSIGH:

Blessings to all! ~Deborah & Shasta

(((Deborah)))). I wish I could answer your question about the miralax...I will have to leave that question to someone else.

I'm sorry you are seeing changes in your little girl. I started giving mine tropical traditions extra virgin, organic, cold pressed coconut oil. Tobey and Gracie get it for hairballs but I give Gus about 2 mls bid to help him hold his weight and its working. I started with .25ml and worked up.

Sounds like a very busy day for you! Hope your girl is ok.

Thank you, Marje. I'll keep my eye on her and her LB and hope all comes out ok. My other little fear is that she may have swallowed little bits of her bird toy feathers and they could be creating an obstruction?!?! :YMSIGH: where do you purchase the coconut oil? Thank you, again for lending an ear and for your input. ~ Deborah
