WCR: All Ps in place. Appy is a bit slow this morning. She ate a bit when I first put it down for her, but it's only when I sit down and hold her bowl for her and talk lovingly that she will eat! :roll:
She did leave me a prezzie in the LB already, so that was a nice surprise.
Last night, Shasta was hysterical. While I was typing, I was receiving love nibbles/bites, head bumps on my wrists, and soft meows. Then I made the mistake of eating a Fig Newton for dessert. She goes ABSOLUTELY BONKERS over Fig Newtons. Of course, I did not give any of it to my little sugar baby, but when I say bonkers...I mean CRAZY, CRAWLING UP MY CHEST, NOSE SHOVED SO FAR BETWEEN MY CLOSED LIPS THAT I COULD EAT HER FACE BONKERS! One day I'll try to get a video. My horse will chase me for a Fig Newton. I swear it's like CRACK for my animals.
So, yesterday was the big delivery day for our cheesecake fundraiser and you know that old saying...what can go wrong...will go wrong. Well, it didn't go wrong-wrong...we just had a few bumps along the way. Items were supposed to be delivered between 8-10am. I remembered yesterday morning that I had a department chair meeting at 7:50-8:30. ugh! Around 9:15, I got a call from the front office saying that the truck broke down and they wouldn't be there until 1pm. SUPER UGH! As soon as the truck got there, my students jumped into action and got the boxes unloaded from the truck, hauled them into my room, we set them up and went to work. Got 970+ items sorted for every student and the only mistakes were from me going to fast! My students done good! Now onto the next big adventure...getting ready for our Holiday concert and to sing at Disney's Candlelight Processional.
