Hello,

Yesterday,
http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=56400,

I am going to vet tomorrow for dental. Vet doesnt want to give him anesthesia , she said it can be dangerous at the moment, but she will try to find another way to clean his plaques... I am so nervous but also excited. Hope he will get rid of the tartars tomorrow... or I really dont know what to do...

Have a great day everyone :)

Hi guys .. nice looking numbers! I hope the vet can figure out a good way of cleaning his teefers .. I've read that a cat really has to be out fully for the best cleanings, but I suppose every bit helps? have a great day!

Merhaba Hande,

Nice blue numbers today!

I've never heard of a cat getting a proper dental without anesthesia of some kind. . .

A dental in a cat is like a periodontic procedure in a human. It is cruel and inhumane to attempt to do this without anesthesia. Light sedation will not be adequate. Please see the section on "The Cleaning Process" in the brochure I've linked. This additional information is about what to ask for/expect from a vet who is doing a dental procedure on your cat.

For what it's worth, Gabby is having a dental procedure in a week or two. She still gets insulin. She's had several dental procedures in the last 2+ years.
