Using the caliper to keep my dose exact has seemed to help.
Also, I didn't change his shot time due to daylight savings. I just got up an hour earlier.
It also could partially be due to the fact that he waits an hour longer to eat than he did previously since my Work schedule includes me getting home to feed him an hour later.
My insulin is still the same bottle I bought back in August and is starting to get low.
I am beginning to believe that the extreme short life of Lantus is an old wives tale.
Still need to get him to the vet where they are going to be highly unreasonable because they want me to use the Alphatrak 2 and suggest I change insulin.
I would hate to change his insulin when it seems to finally be treating him better, but if another insulin is better, then I need to find out.
I hope everyone elses kitties are doing well.
