Yesterday, fur shot recovery followed by "let's confuse the bean". Neko's onset is typically around +5.

Once again I set my alarm for +8 and didn't wake up to it. :oops: But two good things happened. First, Neko's partner in crime decided +9 was a good time to hop on mommy's chest and start licking her face, so I got up to test. And she was green. Second, I figured out what was wrong with the alarm for next time.

The soft furred purry girl is currently curled up on her bed beside my feet. After a busy morning on Otto watch detail, it's time to snooze. The solarium is sunny - I'm surprised she isn't out there yet. It's still cool outside, which means dry air and I have to watch out for static when stroking Neko.

Our kitties do love to surprise us. It's good timing that Theo woke you up so you could see that green.

Hmmmm? Sounds like somecat at your house, named not-Neko, wanted to make sure Neko got her scheduled pokey. I suspect it has nothing to do with concern for her glucose numbers!!!

Sounds like a nice comfortable morning at your house.

Hee Hee, Good Boy Theo-- way to make sure Mama Bean does her job!! :lol: Truthfully Wendy, there is something about this change to Daylight Saving Time, I have had the hardest time waking up at +7 or +8, heck, I have trouble waking up before AMPS lately :roll: :roll:

Neko is definitely looking great! Theo sounds like a good partner in crime for Neko.
 
Neko did finally get out to the solarium for some sun bathing. And she's been up and down stairs several times visiting her favorite Mr. Tires.

I phoned and booked an appointment with the dental vetty, but the earliest booking was January 7th. Neko's been doing more tooth grinding and has some excess soft tissue growth in her mouth (from the acro tumor growth hormone) so eating isn't as comfortable. The person I talked to at the vetty said that they might be able to trim back the excess. But I'll have to fast her before hand, even if it just is an exam and not surgery. They do let you feed up until 6:00AM, so that day I'll set an alarm for a special early breffs for her.

@Carla, Marilyn, Ruth, Matt, Elise - 8 months of the year we get up at 4:30 AM(+9) for rowing 4 days a week. I'm afraid that Theo doesn't know that this is the off season. :roll: It's all about the treats. Fortunately today his timing was good, even though Neko wasn't that low. I hate getting up only to find blue.
 
Poor Neko, somehow I missed the part where you think her acro tumour is causing discomfort when she ate! nailbite_smile Sorry you have to wait so long for her dental as well! :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
soul sistas are digging flat blue today! I'm so glad Neko got some sun on the solarium. Good boy, Theo!!

I know you'll miss the rowing but the extra sleep is probably nice :-D :-D
 
Good job, Theo! You have earned the admiration of your LL aunties and your Mama's gratitude. I hope you got an extra treat!

Boo on having to wait so long for the dental. I hope Neko isn't too uncomfortable. Sending healing vines for her.
