give him a little bit of low carb (maybe 1 tablespoon) to help him surf.

That was a great recovery from hitting 30's yesterday. Looks like he's clearing the bounce already. Go Michael!

Do these lower #'s and lower bounce #'s and also clearing bounces quickly mean
Michael is becoming stabilized :?:

yes. that's how I'd read it. His body is beginning to accept normal numbers as normal again. His bounces aren't as high and dramatic and aren't lasting for as long as they used to.

This is good to know. Maybe even with the HperT, remission is possible.

Julie,

Michael's last t4 was normal. He is taking tapoloze 2.5mg sid. He goes for another t4 test next month.
All in all the hyperT seems to be under control.

I think that's your answer then, paula.

If his thyroid levels are normal I don't know why it would prevent him from making progress, just like any other cat.

Hopefully you get a +2/3 looks like at pmps his sugers were still falling(7.25@7.25 pmps 101)
Its really important to get early additional test when he is that low at PS and clearing a bounce, on the 11th pm cycle he was 53@+3 with pmps 102. You are in the same boat tonight, he could easily be in the danger zone by +4/5 like on the 11th 36@+5
That why testing is so Important when giving insulin with lower bg
