Morning and what a nice surprise waking up to a 176 AMPS. Looking forward to Mannie kitteh Barista coffee! ~O) ~O) I think I missed some pretty numbers last night. I wish I could have stayed up! I left Maggie food over night, and she did a CPC! Maggie's feeling good and playful. I was in the bathroom making myself presentable and she started the chatting, so I proceed to the living room following her, and she wanted me to swing the pole mouse toy, so we had a play time. :-D We did the batting back and forth until she was tired.
Thanks for all the home remedies for my cold. They're all helping, the ones I had in stock, especially the salt water. I need to pick up Mucinex today. The box I have expired in May. Also a lemon and salt. I have some expired Sudafed, too.

Detective Poo, Mags had prezzies yesterday, which was great, as it was an every other dayer prezzies this time! The one med she doesn't like to take, but tolerates, is the Lactulose. The Vet tried to make it palatable with the chicken flavor, but it's sticky and icky! The other med goes down nice and easy.

Libby & Hershey, thanks on all the helpful things to help a cold. I remember my uncle recommending the Whiskey as a remedy for colds when I was a kid. I think I'll try the honey/lemon/whiskey medicinal blend that Jessica's doctor mentioned. :lol: I guess it would knock the cold as well as the human out!

I hope you are feeling better today. I loved all the home remedies that came through. So many great options. It was fun to read.

What a nice start for Maggie today. I so love blue amps! Tarragon seems to be keeping her company. Mannie on the other hand lost his GPS is is floundering a few floors up. :roll: I hope Maggie has a great surf today, maybe a visit to the greens too. :cool:

Woo HOO on the prezzies yesterday. Bummer on the one med, but good that she will tolerate it.

I think it is fun that she comes ad gets you for play time. Very cool.

Enjoy your day today - a walk later maybe?

Hi Michelle, I hope so for a nice slide. Yes, Tarragon also has a nice AMPS. We will need to find Mannie's GPS! :-D Oh yeah, I should take a walk. It's warmer today, 55 degrees, so nice walking weather. It was neat with hearing all; the home remedies.

It looks like Maggie will surf nice safe blues. I just got my health care enrollment package and lots of changes in choices for health insurance, eee yikes! It's going to take me a while to figure it out. There's one doctor I like to keep, so I'll have to go with a PPO type plan.

John and PurrFace, thanks for visiting us. I love it when Maggie talks and it's a good sign to see her playfulness returning. She loves her mouse pole toy.

Devon, always good to see you and Mocha. Yes, I think tis the season for those colds. Thanks on Maggie's pretty numbers. I'm trying to keep her ofd the yellow floor, anti-jynx.

We managed to stay blue all day, and even had a litle double dip, too!

Michelle & Scrabble, thanks on her surf. I hope you're feeling better. The Zicam is helping but also acts as an appetite suppressant.

Hi Ann, Nice blue day for Maggie :mrgreen: Yay for prezzies yesterday, ran out of time to visit condos and missed that. Glad Maggie is chatty and playful. Hope you feel better soon sending you healing vines. My Mom gave us honey/lemon/whiskey to "cut through it", I dont recall if it relieved symptoms or just made us indifferent to them. I do recall it tasted surprisingly good :lol:

Nice blue surf for Maggie. I bet play time this morning was nice. Playful kitties are great. I hope the home remedies and medicine are helping you feel better.

I usually wait until +3, but lately I'm not sure where Mags is headed.

Thanks Leslie & Jasper for visiting and for the healing cold vines. Yes on Mags for keeping the blue surf going. I tried the lemon/tea/brandy drink. I didn't have any whiskey, but someone gave me a tiny bottle of brandy, and I threw in a tsp or so, tasted pretty good! :-D

Amy, thanks on her cycle. She's full of surprises. Probably prezzies tomorrow. I've loaded Mags up on her meds. She's been kind of quiet and sleepy today.

Carla, I love her play time. She's slept most of the day, but it's been cold in the mornings and cold evenings and warm in the afternoons. I have a space heater, and Mags sits right in front of it. I'm thinking a heated bed for Christmas would be nice, or before Christmas.

Hi Ann - so glad to hear that Maggie was playful and you guys had fun this morning! That's always a nice smile. She's got some nice numbers there too! I hope you feel better soon - I chew on the Airborne tablets when I start to feel sick, and also when I'm sick. Lots of tea and fluids, and chicken soup.


A heated bed ..... ooooooohhhh that sounds so nice!
 
What a great all day blue surf for the SoCal surfer girl. I'm glad your cold seems to be responding. With the amount of remedies you'b\ve been given something HAD to work! The best thing though is rest, so maggie, no keeping the bean up tonight!
