Woo HOO! it is Thursday. I hope everyone had a good one yesterday. Ours was alot of fun! it was a pool day for Nicholas. The other grandparents watched William while Nicholas and I swam.Thank you Pat! I continue to love our mornings here. The boys play when they first get here. Breffis is a must, and Nicholas has one of the best ones ever. He is still into is berries, with waffles and bacon. and butter on the waffles, lots of butter! Major good as Nicholas would say.   I still tease him and tell him that William so wants a bite. Nicholas's eyes get real big and he says with such assured-ness: " NOPE! None for William. These are my waffles and berries and bacon. William gets MILK, Grammie, NOT this! " It is the same everyday he comes here. NO WAFFLES FOR WILLIAM!, and then he hands him his bottle of moo. You gotta love Mornings with Nicholas and William. This is what I wrote last night about our day yesterday: "Good evening everyone! I cannot believe that it is 6PM already.... where did the day go? Oh yes.... I remember now: two boys! :-D  I hope your day has been a good one. We did really well here, heck we always do well when I have those two. it was a pool day today, and then a whatever happens day after that. Nicholas and I went to the pool, William spent the morning with the other grandparents. Weather was hit and miss here, some sun there, some there, clouds here, clouds there: but NO RAINS! The temps weren't too bad either, maybe 49/50, but OK. Rains due tomorrow, back to that again after their saying this morning that tomorrow would be good. oh sure....  The pool was great, always is. He was a little bit on the tired side, that always shows later in the session in the big pool, when he has to really work to do something. It is frustration then, but over all, awesome time. Lots of underwater, lots of play, one very happy little boy, back in the pool once again. One of the pool managers came up to me today and asked me how old he was. Said she was surprised at how well he does at his age. She kept going on on how nice it was that he can come as often as he does. well. yes. true. he loves it, so why not. Picassa link: Swimming continues to rule to roost! We went to Snohomish today in the afternoon to see if we could check out a new pool, set to open in a month. It is supposed to be as good as, if not better, that the one he currently goes too. It was a no go... still fenced off, with guys "on guard" to make sure folks stayed out. But from what I could see it will be a very nice facility indeed. It sits atop a small knoll, lots of gassy slopes. It just looks great. We will wait a few weeks and go back when hopefully the fences will be down and we can get a closer look. SO far I really liked what I saw. Nicholas was very excited to be going to see a new pool, and kept asking if he could swim again in that pool. But as luck would have it, he fell asleep in his car seat before we got there. I was not waking that slumbering giant. I will go back. it is about a 25/30 drive to get there, but wow. We ended up at Juanita beach as part of our Mini Road Trip. Nicholas got to play some,William got is pre-dinner snack, and we all got to watch the sunset before we met up with their dad so they could head on home. AWESOME DAY!

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   This morning things are very normal, very quiet... hmmmmmmmmmmm...... Elsa has camped out on her spot on the sofa, Bug is in Mannie's bed, and Lola is on my lap. Supreme bliss rules here this morning. You know those individual wrapped chocolates, like Hersey's Kisses or those Dove Nuggets? I bought a few a week or so ago, allow myself one of two a day (I LOVE chocolate!!!), and have been tossing the foil wraps, all scrunched up, into the trash can in the office area where this 'puter is. darn Lola watched the first time I did that and has been raiding the trash ever since, She's after those balled up foil wraps. She has them flying through the air, bats them all over the floor, and carries them in her mouth from one room to another. I keep finding these small foil balls all over the house.    So so Lola! You gotta love it. YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille! psstttt.... no plant digging! and we are still riding the frig door. and running the banister railing.

Have a great day everyone. It is another Nicholas and William day today. I hope to take the boys up to a river, again, as Nicholas asked for one yesterday. Alot depends on whether we get those predicted rains and winds or not. We may end up at the Aquarium or maybe the Science Center, if things get to "wet and windy" out there. Right now it is very WET out there! I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

Hi, Michelle, I love that Lola has been distracted away from the plants with those foil toys
I can picture those gears moving when she witnessed you throw one into the trash. She's one smart cookie :-D

Enjoy your day!

Good morning! Sounds like quite the day for all of you yesterday .. I bet Nicholas is going to love the new pool .. How funny lola digs out your foil balls and plays with them .. crazy cat!

Hi Michelle,

Oh boy, a new pool to look forward to. Although it's hard to imagine that it could be nicer than the present pool. But it may give you more options during the summer season, when the present big pool is used for lessons. The swimming pics from yesterday are terrific, and those breakfast pics! Edward would like to be at your house for breakfast--a real lumberjack breakfast.

Lola is being Lola. Rusty is looking forward to the arrival of Elsa, Bug and Lola today to plan the full moon party. I'll have plenty of Stu's and Rusty's toys set out to keep Lola occupied.

Elsa: ~O) ~O) ~O) more ~O) ~O) ~O) please! It is delicious. I love your new foam signature.

Have a great day, guys. Hope the weather is good for your river trip,

Ella & Rusty

Good Morning Michelle
Sounds like another full day with the boys ;-)
Very cool about the new pool. I don't think Nicholas could ever have to many pool options
And Lola is up to her usual tricks (but no plant digging :thumbup )
When you said she was playing with those foil balls all I could think of is glad she doesn't have fillings in her teeth
Enjoy you day with the boys :-D

That's funny Lola gets the foil balls out of the trash. Once again, another homeade toy. It sounds like you and the boys had a good day yesterday. I hope it doesn't stay wet and windy all day and you can get out somewhere.

Nice on the swim. Nicholas does love that. Sounds like you will have a great day today. Oh sweet Lola. To only have half of her energy. Have a great day Michelle!

Hi Michelle, sounds like a really fun and full day yesterday. Oh wow with those waffles and berries. Makes my breffifs of oatmeal and yogurt sound so boring. I made up for it with some dark chocolate and a muffin later. Neat pics of the little breffifs club. William is getting big and so cute with his smiles. That new pool sounds like it will be a nice change once it's up and running. Nice pics of swimming and the moni road trip.
Elsa, thanks for my coffee and treats, and the neighbors thank you, too, Auntie AnnOh Lola always cracks me up and now with those little foil balls. Katie also sits on my lap as I type but wants me to play and I can barely visit any condos. For a girl kitty, she is really wild. So funny with Lola and the frig door and banister. What is her age or approximate age?

Enjoy your river adventure with the boys and hope the weather cooperates. We have 85 degrees here today. I'm anxious for sweater weather which TWC says is right around the corner Enjoy your time with the boys.

Hi everyone! Another late night for me, and I'm sorry I've missed so many of you. I've read the subject lines... wish I had time to visit each and all. It was been a great day here, but a very busy one. 6:30 PM, and I'm just getting home, settling in for the night. weather was OK today - alot of rains this morning, a nice afternoon, some clouds. There is alot of cold and wet, maybe snow, on the horizon, well anything over 1000 feet does. Just the cold and wet coming here, and more snow for the higher places. We did go out today, to lake padden in bellingham, on a weather dudes thoughts that there would be no rains, and minimal clouds. :-D oh sure... rained the whole drive up  , but and a wow: lake padden was rainless, where the rest of bellingham was under siege. we got lucky. it was cold though, maybe 40.Nicholas had fun and liked the lake but was disappointed when he couldn't find a creek that fed the lake. ;-) Always thinking that one. William didn't mind the cold - wow on that: a non-fussy baby. :-D :-D He rally is so easy going, just goes with the flow. it was a good time. We had just as much fun camping out in the car for lunch as we did on the lake. We also made Juanita beach late in the afternoon. it's good spot for the little guy, plus it's just 5 minutes from his dad's work, so that aspect works well. That was fun too. That kid I swear does not feel, or rather mind, the cold. I forgot to put on his boots, so there he is wading in and playing with the water, mindless of the temp. It is kinda fun, and amazing, to watch. It has been nice there the past couple of night: we catch the sun going down, makes for a pretty scene. There is this lifeguards chair there on the beach. Nicholas had to climb up the thing, sit in the seat. Major cool he says, and that he can see everything! He liked the sun, talked about how pretty it was over the water. sheshhhh - what 2.5 yr old talks about sunsets? love it. what a nice day.  I will post the Picassa link n tomorrow's condo.

Hi Josie, I like that too. It is so nice to come home and not have the plants Lola-ized! . She really does love those foil balls! And me too, on her seeing and remembering what I had done with those little balls. I agree she is indeed one smart cookie!

Hi Devon, yes it was quite the day yesterday. I think Nicholas will like the new pool too. It was funny, this morning when I picked him up that was the first thing he asked for. He wanted to go see the new pool. Yes, Lola is indeed one crazy cat! It is amazing to me that she remembered what I did with them and then went and got them. And continues to remember day after day after day! Way too funny.

Hi Ella, yes we are kind of excited here. A new pool and it isn't that far from the house. I am anxious to see what the inside of it looks like. I have seen some visual representations, but you never know until you actually go there. The outside looks absolutely fabulous. I hope it will give us, as you say, more options during the summer season when we have issues with the big pool at the current pool Nicholas goes to. Thanks on the pics from yesterday. It is, as Edward visualizes, a real lumberjack breakfast! And yes on Lola, she is being Lola. I will laugh at the thought of having plenty of Stu and Rusty toys set out to keep Lola occupied when she shows up today. Good idea! It will keep her out of your very old plant in the basement.
Auntie Ella! I am coming! I have lots of very good coffee for you. Thank you on my new foam signature, it's pretty cool! ~~ Elsa, lil BIT, kitteh barista

Hi Pam, yes. A very full day with the boys! But it is a lot of fun.I agree on Nicholas. One can never have too many pools! That is his opinion too. oh yes on Lola: always up to those tricks.. I am just glad that there has been no plant digging! That is a huge plus. I have to laugh when you mentioned about having fillings and her teeth. I thought the same thing too - made me laugh a lot.

Hi Carla, I think so too on Lola. What other kitty would even remember that I threw those foil balls into the trash and then go and dig them out! I agree, another homemade toys. Who needs to go buy the store? And yes we had a very good day yesterday. The weather was a little iffy today, but we may do at a very nice place at a lake. The boys had a good time. Later in the afternoon we went to the beach, even more fun there.

Hi Melissa, thanks on the swim. I agree he does love it! Today was good. It was a little cold and a little wet but the boys had a good time. I agree to on Lola, I wish I had just an ounce of her energy!

Hi Ann, it was really fun and very full day yesterday. I know on Nicholas's breakfast. Everyday its the same. But he just loves those waffles and those berries and that bacon. I like your breakfast, though. Nothing wrong with yogurt: it is good stuff! I like the addition of the dark chocolate. I absolutely love dark chocolate! Thanks for the pics. I agree on the new pool too. It should be really nice once it's up and running. The pictures of it are just beautiful. on Lola she is about 14/15 months old now. Still full of tons of energy. I wonder when that will ever change? It probably won't. Lola is Lola. Thanks on today we had a great time.I can't believe it's 85 degrees where you are! That's crazy. But enjoyable.
Auntie Ann - , you are more than welcome. I'm glad your neighbors like what I bring. I will be back later today with frappes! Elsa, lil BIT, kitteh barista
