Yesterday I left for MD and DH took over the reins and got a bit of a surprise when he came home for lunch. Leo is working the new dose, and of course, in true Leo form.... BOINGGGGG!!!!! Luckily for DH, he got to sleep through the night. That doesn't happen a lot with the Little Stinker! I generally do a +2 or +3 anyway, or even a +5 just to know for sure he's in a bounce and not actually sort-of-a-regular cycle with an actual nadir, high as it would be. But based on his +11 and AMPS, looks like he bounced and he's recovering quite nicely! DH will test around +4.

Just did a beautiful 8.25 mile run around this gorgeous park through trails in the woods. Ahhhh, 35 degrees, sunny, a little frost on the grass. I love running in the cold on a beautiful sunny day. I will miss these trails when I move.

HI guys, boooiiinnnggg is right! I got one of those this morning too, no fun! I am a runner too, trail looks beautiful! Been sick the past few days and haven't been able to get out there which kills me! Hope you see some better numbers today and recover nicely from the bounce. Take care.
 
Much better this morning! Great catch by DH yesterday and so many people say "why do you test so OFTEN!" :roll:

What a lovely place to run! Are you through w/ having to commute or just changing apartments?

Hi Michelle. No fun, I agree. Not a good thing to have in common! Oh, stinks not being able to run - I hope you feel better soon! The trail is so nice, and the sad thing is, I only recently found it. I hope to get two more long runs in on it before I move.

Hi Ann - yes, DH did good! Sigh - I know - we test and often we didn't really *need* to, but there are so many times we're really HAPPY we got out of bed for that nadir! That's what gets me up at night, are those surprises we get when we don't expect it. :shock:

And the irony ....... last night I got to sleep through the night again without testing !!! I was so excited to sleep all night long! But I didn't realize my alarm was still set for 1:30am.... Grrrr :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sorry about that bounce, but hopefully he's come down nicely as the day went on. Nice that you had the opportunity for uninterrupted sleep! Even when I don't have to get up with Hershey, I can't seem to sleep through. Don't know if it's old habits dying hard or me wanting to make sure it's done right. ;-) :lol:

I hope all goes well on your trip and Leo does well in your absence.
