I hope those rising numers is because little piggy was eating off and on, this morning. Because he's so thin, I am happy to feed when he asks, unless it's too close to shot time.
Doc has told Susan, that Checkers will never gain lost muscle back, but a bit of flesh/fat, would look good to me.
Even tho he can be very active and playful, it still hurts to see him so bony.

Not too bad though, still, time to start heading down, Checks.

I know on getting them to eat enough. What worked for Tess was going w/ the NV raw foods, upping the calories without increasing the amount of food. They are 65 kcal/oz, most FF is only 25-32.

Hi Barb, there's a lot of room for Checks to come down yet, how about it Checkers. It's almost blue. I wish Mags could give Checkers some of her fluff. Hope your day is going well.

I know what you mean, Barb. Trix is a piglet so no chubs problem there, but my Mario is also on the thin and boney side. Since he used to be chubby and checked in at 18lb at one point, it's hard seeing him be so skinny (hyperT, etc, with him). So whenever he wants to eat, I drop everything and feed him...it makes us both happy.

Hi Barb, Glad Checkers has a good appy, hope he can put on some weight and fill out. I wish our furs could send some surplus pudge to help him out with that, Pearl has plenty to spare :lol: . Hope Checkers comes down to some lower numbers for you.

I wish Checkers would eat like that every day. I just realized he prefers the FF Beef.... and me, with a shelf full of chicken and t&g, and some Merrick that he loved the first day. :YMSIGH:

Clancy spilled his kibble today, and Checkers raced me to the closed room, when he heard it. Of course he got in , while I was trying to shoo him with my foot. He got some kibble while I was vacuuming it up

He just spent 5 minutes telling me he was going to poop. It was so funny, once I realized he didn't have a problem in the LB. :lol:

Come on Checks, out of the pink and eat your fuds and pack on some pounds! Leo likes FF Beef too, and he RUNS for Molly's crunchies if I don't swoop in immediately! Have a good night.
