Just when I think we are taking 2 steps forward we take 4 steps back. Fur shot? HUGH bounce? Delayed result from my chicken shot yesterday? I hate this.
Thank goodness for the fact that he is still gaining slow, healthy weight - up to 11.8 lbs! (he was 14 in his prime - poss a bit overweight prime lol but
then a good 12 lbs for years and years). Also his ketones are 0.4 on the blood meter - untraceable on a urine stick. Little victories.
 
Try not to get discouraged by his numbers. He will come back down. As you mentioned he is gaining weight and had untraceable ketones. He is more than his numbers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

This process can be frustrating and depressing at times. I echo what Carla says ^^. Slow and steady weight gain is great. You are doing everything possible while keeping Tigger safe. Just keep doing what your are doing. Don't forget chin scritches and nose kisses :):cat:
