Hi Everyone
I am so happy today!
so we tried a completely different site and last night we had a bigger drop than the 30 points over
the last 2 weeks..but today I shot a 3.3 into the different spot and at 5.5 he dropped
50% to 123!! he is acting likenormal again...talking away!nad not crazy drinking water
so Sue..I guess it was the injection spot! thanks for talking me through that one!
I hope all is well and have to run out but I will catch up with everyone later

Would you mind sharing what site you were shooting and what site is the new site???

Anything is worth a try for me :mrgreen:
 
ITs funny, because the last 6 minths I have been shooting on his side by his shoulder blades,
switching sides every couple of weeks..
but I forget what they call it but the site where you inject can get "build up" for lack of a better word
and it slows the absorbtion of insulin into the body
so in talking to Sue last night I went to the home page and there under insulin injections
gives you instructions on the best places to inject (too easy right!?!)
so I chose his side, in the middle of his shoulder blade and hip (it says that is the best place to inject)
and it looks like it worked. He is back to himself again
every few months we go thru this...
only problem today is that I thinkhe is bouncing from going so low today!
oh well...hope all is well out there! and I hope this helps
its always worth giving it a try!
