Do you have S. Boulardii? It might help with the soft stools. Any other symptoms? Is he eating okay? Looking okay?
 
Hi everyone. I got Nao's results, everything is within normal levels, no pancreatitis or anything. I'll be taking him for a consult tomorrow because his usual vet wasn't at the office today, and she wants to check on him. I'll discuss a few things with her to see what I can do.

I would like some recommendations. I know a few of you give probiotics and other supplements to your cats daily, is that something I should try with Nao? I don't have much experience with that, so any feedback would be appreciated!
 
This is the one I started Bell on when she had to take so many antibiotics for her anal gland ruptures:

First strain listed is S Boulardii, and she's been doing well with it. It was the first one I tried beyond the Flortiflora, so I haven't tried many alternatives. I just open the capsules and sprinkle it on her food with some Flortiflora, and she eats it fine.

I'm sure there are many similar (and possibly cheaper) ones out there.

Do you give the capsules daily? Or just when needed?
 
I have been giving them to her daily, but she does have a pretty bad stomach (bilious vomiting syndrome). I figure it won’t hurt her to have it everyday. I’m really paranoid about her having more anal gland issues and her stool has been in the Goldilocks range since I started her on that and a little psyllium husk, so I’ve just kept it up.
