Yesterday's Condo

Late Condo Queen reporting in. I don't have a really good excuse - just the day's going by too fast! Nothing exciting to report today. Cinco stayed low yellow/high blue. For the first time I can think of, I can report all Ps in place! He actually played a little with one of his catnip mice! He spent a minute or two on his nanner, too. Loving this more active, happy kitty! :-D

Sasha didn't care for this morning's breakfast entree, so she got a half of a jar of baby food, and finished the rest at lunch. So far, the Cerenia isn't doing anything.

Elise, you asked if she'd been on Pred before. The answer is yes - several times. I don't think I've ever noticed a change in her appetite with it. Too bad.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.

Yay on Cinco playing with his mouse. I'm glad he's feeling so good. I'm sorry Sasha's appy wasn't very good, but at least she ate some baby food. I hope her appy gets better.

Re: 11/13 Cinco PMPS 281

Congrats to Cinco for a complete WCR report- especially the playing, since you say he is not typically a playful guy- that's huge!! :-D :-D I don't know it is with me, but it isn't like I sleep in until late, I get up at 5:30 most mornings, but I simply cannot get online and start a condo that early, there is no excuse for me!  whereas, I know that you are busy from the moment you get up, you are tending to all of your kitties and their special needs- that's a lot like child-rearing, so no worries about the late night condos- we;re just glad to hear from you! :-D :-D

Sending tons of appetite and healing vines for Sasha- poor baby, I am praying for her too! Tiger responded very nicely to Cerenia, but I know that ECID. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Thanks for your late night visit to our condo yesterday, it was so very much appreciated!

Re: 11/13 Cinco PMPS 281

Welcome back (belated!), Tricia. I hope that Sasha's appetite will pick up and that everyone is getting settled in again. Glad that Cinco saw some blue today and that he played with his toys.

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for stopping by, Carla, Ruth and Ella.

Cinco is surfing yellow tonight again. We'll see what, if anything, that means for tomorrow. I'll be here all day, so he'll probably do nothing exciting.

I really am enjoying watching Cinco come out of his shell a little. He's always been a very mellow cat - accepts attention when it's offered, but doesn't seek it. The past few days he's been very vocal, and when I go to see what he wants, he assumes the position for a back rub! He purrs and rubs his paw across his face - obviously enjoying it. He's been rubbing his face on my foot or leg lately, too - that's new. He's either declaring ownership or telling me he loves me - or his face itches!

I managed to get another jar of baby food into Sasha - in two sessions, mostly spoon fed. According to a formula Marje posted on another condo, she needs around 180 calories a day. That doesn't sound like very much! A jar of baby food has 100 calories, so she's had at least 200 today (plus the Hill's TD she's snacked on and the two or three bites of cat food she ate.). Can it really be that easy? I just want to get some weight back on her - she should weigh about a pound more than she does, I think. I have half a jar of baby food left after giving Harvey his tummy treat (he wouldn't eat his food when I put the total biotics and total enzymes in it, so now I put it in baby food and he inhales it!), so I'll try to get her to eat some of that before bed.

Harvey threw up all his dinner about a half hour after eating it. :o  I gave him some Cerenia and he was in the pantry eating dry food 15 minute later! He begged for food as we ate dinner and cleaned what was left on Sasha's plate up without hesitation. I don't know what it is with him. I'm to take him in for a BW check next week. Hopefully his kidney values are back to normal.

Hey Cinco, keep Max company in the lagoon. Maybe if you do he won't go too deep. I'm sending tummy vines for Harvey. Do you think he has a touch of p'itis or it's the kidneys making him a tad nauseous? It always has to b something with at least one, doesn't it? I hope whatever is causing it disappears soon.

Hi Elise. I don't thing Cinco will be joining Max tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

The vet thinks Harvey's tummy troubles are related to his elevated kidney levels. I'll know more next week after I take him for his BW follow up.

I had that issue with Tiffany and for her it started with her at stage 2. I didn't know it was nausea back then and was giving her cyproheptadine at the time. I hope Harvey feels better. Hopefully Max and Cinco will meet up tomorrow.
