Chispa had her lowest preshot in a while this morning, but regardless, I decided it was time to increase as planned. Two hours later she's screaming and voila, 54 and no doubt dropping fast. Opened a pouch of 13% and gave her half; she downed it in seconds and yelled for more. I didn't want her to throw up because she had already eaten a big breakfast (after throwing up right after her shots), so I mixed a few drops of honey into a tsp of 13% because I didn't have anything higher carb. Tried to test 15 mins later and poked her poor little ears SEVEN times without getting a usable drop of blood (if the neighbors heard me, I'll be hauled off by Child Protective Services before I finish this post

). She has a vet appointment this afternoon to see what the recent vomiting is about and I'm guessing I'll be looking at another ultrasound.
Happy Monday, everyone!

and would have to be sedated for her to get in there and have a look around, so we set that up for next Monday afternoon. I am also going to make an appointment with an internist to have an ultrasound to compare to the one she had 2.5 years ago, when diagnosed with IBD. My hopes of ever regaining my solvency are fading fast, but oh well ... you can't take it with you, and all that.
