Just got home from DM's birthday party!! Really had planned on getting another test in on China today but you know how it goes....the best laid plans of mice and men don't always allow it!
Luckily, I know my little girl well and I'm sure she had a fine day
She does think she should have a late afternoon snack though!! Sorry girl....too close to PMPS time so you're just going to have to try to survive another 75 minutes.
DM had a nice birthday....My brother came and took her out to breakfast, I came and did cake and ice cream this afternoon along with my oldest son and his wife and then my youngest son showed up to take her out to dinner. I wish I'd known he was coming down from Kansas City. Taking her out that much in one day will really tire her out as well as she has very little appetite so I doubt if she'll eat much tonight. Would have been better for us all to get together and do one thing I think but my youngest son has pretty much totally cut all of us out of his life and I knew nothing about his plans until he showed up.
Here's her cake though! I thought it came out nice!! Red Velvet, whipped cream cheese icing and I brought some French Vanilla ice cream!
