Sleepy sunday, LL folk!
The boy has clocked all 5 p's today, though being "Pleased with the bean" is not on that list.
I awoke 2 hrs late for his test & breffis, and then was out again until, well...now
My insomnia/weird sleep cycles have reached the point where no matter how early I head to bed
or what pill I take, I fall asleep between 4-5am. Not a truly serious problem until now...
as last week I began the "return to the ranks of the employed" dance,
and tomorrow kicks off the endless round of interviews, etc.
Oddly, most HR folk are not fond of scheduling a meeting between 10pm and 4am :? .
The sleep issue is something I've dealt with for many years...and the best solution I've found is working long hours,
or spending longer hours testing a sugarkitty
I have 4 interviews set for tomorrow...two of which are positions I'd love to have.
Given my background, you may find it odd that I'm opting to go back to being a retail regional mgr...
but the money is good...and I can still devote time to family and furbabies.
The counseling field is still too close to home for me to be objective & effective.
So...we'll see what pans out...but I am wishing I looked just a little less haggard
Back to kitty tales...
Lil Annie must have been feeling a bit dissed by my reaction to her spider find...
so she left a dead squirrel on the front patio...EEWWWWW :-|
Holding Jill and her husband closely in heart and thought...
and sending healing vines to all family members (furry and not so furry) who may be in need of them.
and a nod to the work place...
