Happy Monday Morning Lantus Land,

Nice gentle slide into the blues last night... And a blue to start out the day, always a nice sight, even if it is a higher blue. I hope we can stay in the blues, or maybe even a dip into the greens during this cycle.

Zeus woke me up a few minutes before the alarm with his face right in mine, whoa and when I didn't get up immediately he gently poked my arm, and then did laps around the bed. I guess I deserved it, he was just getting even for the times I woke him up last night for tests :lol: A full belly and post shot he has gone back to bed. I am debating whether I should take advantage of the Holiday and go back to bed too.

Hope you all have a great day, prayers for good numbers for the babies. Hugs and healing vines to all that need them.

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by today.

I talked with our vet a little while ago, he thinks It is time to change insulin... He talked about ProZinc, and I mentioned Levemir (which he had never heard of). He did say that he would do a little research, and get back to me. I did give him the link to the message board so that he could check it out. It looks like the Lev board is more active, and I didn't really pay attention but think I remember hearing something about a shortage with ProZinc?

My question is, I know some of you have switched from Lantus. What was the deciding factor that made you choose one over the other? Is there anything that I should think about when making the decision?
