Day 11 @ 2.5 Units Lantus

Sorry for the delay today....it has been a busy one with lots to do.

Thank you all for your prayers for my BIL. His surgery went well yesterday, as well as can be expected. He is eating today and feeling much better than he did post surgery. Now he needs to wait for the biopsy report to come back. That report will tell the Dr's what future treatment is needed. Let's be positive that it's a good one!!

Yoyo continues to eat his new food which is great but now I wonder why does he like it so much. So now I am second guessing myself. I am going to call the company to verify % of calories from carbohydrates and the phosphorous level.

Hope everyone's weather is behaving itself and that you are all safe along with your Kitties:D:cool::):bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

I am so happy to hear all went well with the surgery for your BIL yesterday. Continued healing vines and I sure hope there is no more rough news.

We missed Yoyo's moves this morning - glad to see he is trying to jump in the lagoon - I think Tina is saying, come on Yo - let's go play; enough beach time!

Oh Yoyo, now what a good and happy boy liking your food, and your mom thinks something is wrong with it:eek: Oh goodness, I hope that isn't the case!! I know what you mean Debra, but it is funny!

Try to relax ok? I know it's so easy to type r-e-l-a-x:rolleyes:

I know, I am my worse enemy.
But I did call the company. Very nice man explained the carbs and phosphorous levels. I found out Soulistic Food is made exclusively for Petco. That explains why I can't find it at any other pet store. He also had info on weruva food and bff food. I don't know why, to me weruva is a separate company but anyway he gave me levels of carbs that I need for Yoyo in food and levels of phosphorous in foods that I can feed Yo for hypo scenerios. Very helpful!!!

Sending positive thoughts and energy for your BIL's biopsy results. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I'm so glad that Yoyo's eating and enjoying his new food and it's cause he feels good and it tastes good, not because it's 80% carbs!!:p
See you tomorrow Debra and Yo! :)

So happy to hear BIL is doing well!

Yoyo is really earning his name tonight!! what a drop!! Be good tonight Yoyo!!

I'm sorry I missed the info on BIL...good that everything went well. Hoping for a longterm positive outcome!

Yoyo is looking good hanging there on the beach :)

Have a great evening Debra!
When my BIL was diagnosed I thought of you with your recent procedure with mohs surgery and then I believe you had anesthesia in the hospital. My BIL has been seeing dermatalogists for many many years and having basal and squamous skin cancers removed. This specialist Dr in Miami feels that somewhere somehow a cell was dropped from higher up on his face during one of his mohs surgeries and this new large growth grew. That really makes me feel great as I have had numerous mohs surgeries. I have never heard of such a thing, but I guess it is true, even though it scares the heck out of me!
