After a night in the blue I think Sarge is working on breaking his bounce although we were pink this morning. We will see what he has to say about it as this cycle rolls out. It is fun to see the new things he does and the old things he picks back up as he feels better. The more he hits blue/green the pluckier he gets!

His vet's office scheduled the wrong vet for yesterday so we rescheduled with the vet following his diabetes care for next Wednesday. I know a year ago Sarge was on watch for a teeth cleaning. I can't help but wonder if he is due now and if he is if it would be a game changer to get it done ASAP. We may travel for Christmas which will be another new experience but I wonder if I have enough of a window to get his teeth done and travel a couple of weeks later. Can anyone tell me if this would be too much dose juggling for a four week period? I know there are special considerations for fasting for dentals and for traveling with diabetic cats. I don't want to stress him out but I think it might really help him get regulated or maybe OTJ one day.

my personal opinion is there's time to get a dental done without interfering with your holiday travel plans. in my experience, if a dental is needed, putting it off for months usually isn't the best idea. take one step at a time though. see if he even needs a dental and when they could do it before worrying about it.

have a good day!

Sounds like a plan. We shall see what the vet says :) They look tartarific to me so I was just thinking a little ahead.
