Another 50s day. He started AMPS) 4 of the last 5 days in the 50 numbers, but he did fine those days so I guess this is going to be his morning routine for awhile.

We did sleep through the night until 5:30 (CDT) this morning at which time he greeted us with a nice green 82. cat_pet_icon It will be interesting to see what he has planned for today.

Thanks to all. I just tested him again he surprised me with a 41!!! Fed him 1 tsp of HC (17%) and will retest soon. He's always full of surprises.

I hope you've been practicing drawing up that 0.1u dose! Congrats on the decrease.

And yes, he certainly is full of surprises! I think your kitty wants your complete and undivided attention.

Been away a few hours. Took a scooter ride. DW was able to keep PurrFace in the 60s with some MC food then he jumped up 34 points in 2 hours.

Hi John, Nice green numbers for PurrFace :mrgreen: he is continuing on his mission the fast low way, no time for the easy slow way. DW did a great job feeding his numbers up just the right amount :-D Good luck with the itty bitty dose.

thanks for the visit. It is odd finally getting to that "green place". kind of on the nerve wracking side. and we didn't have anything like you guys had to deal with.

Hi Leslie & Mary. I have the new micro dose all figured out. I cheated. I use milk and spent 30 minutes getting the dose correct. Once I had that I put a thin plastic washer and two faucet screen washers together. Then I put them between the plunger head and main body of the syringe and pushed the plunger until it hits the top of the washers. It was a hair short so I put a piece of scotch tape on the bottom washer and a piece on the top washer and Wall-La it gives me the exact amount. Sometimes I scare myself. :lol:
Mary I'm sure you'll have your turn with the super low numbers at some point. When you do "try" not to get too nervous (easier said than done) and post for help. The one thing I remembered that both Sienne and Marje told me was to feed the 40s. So when PurrFace got way down into the 40s we fed him a little bit of HC until he got into the mid 50s then we would try MC and if he dropped we went back to the HC. You'll do fine.
Did you and Oliver see the fight that broke out at the race? Maybe that wasn't the one you were at.

John, that's amazing. So, what kind of engineer are you? Most people wouldn't have been able to create your system.
We weren't at that race. We are vintage road racing. Old guys racing old cars. Our youngest customer is a 47 year old woman. oldest guy is 80. And he beats the pants off the younger guys.

Hi John, Your dose setter sounds very creative! How about posting a picture? Do your syringes have much variance in the needle depth into the cone or barrel? Just curious, some of ours had needle so far into the cone the dose were measured pooled around the needle end and we thought maybe no liquid actually came out, similar to fur shot I guess :shock: Fortunately Jasper's pancreas was already healling pretty well by then and the dose variance did not adversely affect him.

Thank you to everyone for visiting our condo. I never even thought of looking how far the needle went into the syringe barrel. I'll have to take a good look at that. My "washer caliper" worked pretty well and will help DW if she has to draw a dose.
